We’re a small independent jewellery brand, so our environmental impact is something we try to consider in the everyday decisions rather than treat as a separate project.
Made in small batches
Aether & Nox jewellery is fully assembled from individual components in Yorkshire. Working in small batches helps us avoid unnecessary overproduction and lets us respond to what people are actually buying.
Materials chosen to last
Our current range focuses increasingly on natural gemstones and durable stainless steel components. Stainless steel is waterproof, tarnish resistant and designed for repeat wear, helping pieces stay in use for longer.
Packaging with less waste
We use recyclable or biodegradable packaging wherever practical and reuse suitable postage packaging rather than automatically replacing it with something new.
Supporting tree planting through Ecologi
Aether & Nox has supported climate action through Ecologi since 2024. Our wholesale orders contribute towards ongoing tree planting, and we fund this impact periodically rather than making claims around instant or automatic planting at checkout.

An evolving approach
The range has changed a lot since Aether & Nox began, including moving away from much of our earlier polymer clay production and towards gemstone jewellery. We’ll keep reviewing materials, suppliers and packaging as the business grows, with the aim of reducing waste without making claims we can’t stand behind.
