Aether & Nox is an independent jewellery brand creating earthy, ethereal pieces in Yorkshire.

I’m Jason, the designer and maker behind the brand. I began making jewellery in 2021 after looking for a creative outlet away from my career in finance. What started with pieces for people close to me soon grew through makers’ markets across West Yorkshire into a collection stocked by independent shops around the UK.

Today, Aether & Nox centres on natural gemstone jewellery with a modern, accessible feel. I pair stones such as Moonstone, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Labradorite and Aquamarine with durable stainless steel to create earrings, necklaces and adjustable bracelets that are easy to wear every day.

Every collection is guided by the contrast at the heart of our name: Aether, associated with light and the upper sky, and Nox, the Latin word and mythological figure for night. That balance shapes jewellery that feels both earthy and ethereal, minimal and expressive.

Jewellery made for real life

Comfort and inclusion matter just as much as appearance. Our stainless steel designs are hypoallergenic, nickel-free, waterproof and anti-tarnish, with lightweight earrings and adjustable pieces created to suit more people.

Each piece is handcrafted in small batches in Yorkshire and packaged with care using recyclable, biodegradable or reusable materials wherever possible. The result is contemporary gemstone jewellery designed for gifting, self-expression and everyday wear.
